The decline and disappearance of the number of protests can be documented over the months. The last quarter of the year saw a further decline in the number of mobilizations, but also an increase in violence and other manifestations of popular distress. The most remarkable issue of the quarter was the convergence of demands and profiles taking part in the protests. Mixed in the social distress mold, the different actors formulate and discover the similarity of their struggles and the strategies of the power that wants to curb these struggles.
